Resources for completing the IWC Academic Writing Roadmap course
Session 1: Getting Started
In the first session you will learn about the course, and your Mentor will assess your current understanding of the relevant concepts and skills, including a review of essay topics and essay prompts. You will review essay prompts and read about credible sources to prepare for Session 2.

In this session you will take a short review quiz about essay prompts, and learn more about finding credible sources in detail.
Session 3: Credible Sources Quiz & Paragraph 1
In this session you will take a short review quiz about credible sources, and then learn about paragraph development, including finding sources to support each of the points contained in the paragraph.
Session 4: Referencing & Citations
In this session learn about referencing and citations while going over the handout guide. Be prepared for a short review quiz at the beginning of the next session.
